Welcome Warriors!

My name is Mrs. Hunt and this is my 5th year teaching at ALJH. I teach 7th grade Language Arts and Thrive. I graduated with my bachelor’s from Cal State San Bernardino, and earned my master’s degree from Cal Baptist University. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our family in the backyard with our pond of pet koi fish! As a family, we enjoy traveling, playing musical instruments, being outdoors, and rooting for our favorite sports teams---GO DODGERS! Fun fact, Mr. McCliman and I are siblings! We attended Alta Loma Elementary, Alta Loma Junior High, and Alta Loma High School together when we were kids. Our hearts “bleed blue” and we have a lot of fun empowering all of our students to become leaders in our community. Each year, I look forward to learning and growing as an educator. I cannot wait to see what this school year has in store for us. I am proud to be your teacher and I look forward to working with you!
