• Dear Parents,

    At this time your child has a D or F in either Math and/or Science. It is important to monitor your child’s work. Any student who scores below a 70 % on a math test or quiz may do corrections to bring up the grade. There is also Math help on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning in my classroom.

     

    HOW CAN I IMPROVE MY GRADE THIS TRIMESTER?

     

    PARENTS

     

    Provide a quiet place and specified time for homework. Even if your child does not have homework, he/she should spend this time reviewing or reading.

     

     

    Your child should be able to show you the completed work. It is not collected until the next day.

     

     

    Join Remind

    Join by text:

    Participants text a unique class or school code to a Remind phone number. For U.S teachers, the Remind number is 81010. For example, if you wanted to join a class with the class code @mathampsc, you would text @mathampsc to 81010.

    STUDENTS

     

    Copy your assignment into your Minder Binder every day.

     

    Complete every assignment to the best of your ability and turn it in.

     

    Keep your work organized so that you can find it when it’s time to turn it in.

     

    Study for tests. Use the test study guides to quiz yourself. Don’t wait until the last minute to study!

     

    Ask for help when you don’t understand something.

     

    *Attend Study Hall if you need a quiet supervised place to study after school. This is held in Room 3 with Mrs. Green on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2:10-3pm.
