  • Us State Report Presentation

On Wednesday, October 16, you will present your state to the class. Use page 1 of your notebook (or the US State Report tab) to help guide you in putting your book and presenation together.

Your book should include: Title page, Table of Contents, all items gathered for your report, and a bibliography page.

Your presentation should include: All the facts of your state (date, nickname, motto, square miles, population). significant history (major events, historical figure), and interesting facts (state bird, flower, interesting landmark).

You do NOT need to do a slide show presentation, but rather will present the work you have already completed and put into your book. You will be graded on: Accuracy of facts, completion of all assigned topic areas, eye contact and clarity of voice and language, and length of presentation. The presentation should be 3-5 minutes long. The key to success is to be organized and thorough. It is best to practice this presentation with someone at home.
