2017 LEAP into Summer Program
Make Plans Now For L.E.A.P. Summer Enrichment Program
Summer is just around the corner, and it’s crucial that students continue to stay engaged and motivated during the non-school months with activities that keep them learning – even when they’re having fun.
Students from throughout the Alta Loma School District are invited to participate in the district’s Learning Enrichment Activities and Projects (LEAP) summer enrichment program, which will run over two separate two-week sessions from June 5-16 and 19-30.
The LEAP program features enrichment courses that are typically not offered during the regular school year. Taught by credentialed teachers, the classes offer students the opportunity to participate in hands-on projects and activities that are intended to stimulate creativity, innovation, collaboration, communication, critical thinking and fun.
Courses are designed for both elementary and junior high school students. Each session will offer classes from 8-10 a.m. and 10 a.m.-noon.
Information about fees, registration, course descriptions, schedules and more can now be viewed by clicking here or the link on the District homepage.
