Welcome!  Thanks for stopping by my page!  I currently teach Fourth Grade at Hermosa Elementary. At my school I am the Site Tech Leader.  I am passionate about integrating technology in my teaching. I also enjoy leading the Spirit Team and organizing the Talent Show!  

I am completing my masters in Educational Technology at California State University, Fullerton. I received my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from CSU Fullerton with an emphasis in Technology and my Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from San Diego State University.  

I believe the purpose of education is to grow each child into a competent, caring, life-long learner. As an educator, my role is to facilitate my students through rich learning environments in a variety of teaching strategies. I believe students learn best in a high-interest, rigorous environment where they feel included and supported. My instructional strategies are based around 21st century learning skills which include communication, collaboration, creativity, problem solving, and critical thinking. I believe in creating close relationships with the community, parents, my teaching colleagues, and administration, in order to benefit my students and school district.
