Hi! My name is Mrs. Alvarado and I am a fourth grade teacher! 

I decided to become a teacher because I love to work with students and create fun new ways to teach different subjects. I went to Cal Poly Pomona to earn my multiple subject credential and master’s degree in Educational Multimedia. My favorite style of teaching includes a lot of hands on projects and problem based lessons. I believe teaching is one of the most rewarding careers in the world!

My family consists of my husband, Eddie; our two children, Ava and Dean; and our dog, Biggie. My daughter attends school at VG, and in the future my son will too. We love VG! Our favorite thing to do together as a family is go boating on the river. We love to travel and try new things. We also enjoy visiting the library whenever we can. 

Each year I look forward to starting another adventure with a new group of smiling faces. I look forward to getting to know all of you and your families.
