  • Now Open, Deer Canyon Classroom Building Ribbon Cutting Set for Jan. 24

    The Alta Loma School District will officially christen the newly constructed 11,500-square-foot classroom building at Deer Canyon Elementary School on Friday, Jan. 24. City officials, local legislators, ALSD school board members and district administrators are expected to join Deer Canyon staff and students for the grand opening ceremony, which will begin at 9 a.m.

  • ALSD Shows “All Green” on Latest California Dashboard

    Students across the Alta Loma School District continue to perform well over a range of statewide academic, attendance and behavioral accountability indicators, showing ongoing growth and improvement. ALSD was the only school district in San Bernardino County to display “green” in all four indicators in which it was measured in the California Department of Education’s recently released California School Dashboard.

  • Deer Canyon Earns California Distinguished School Honors

    Deer Canyon Elementary School is one of just 19 elementary schools in San Bernardino County and 324 throughout California to be recognized as a California Distinguished School for 2019-2020. This is the second time in three years that Deer Canyon has earned California Distinguished School honors.
