Halloween Guidelines

  • Students must come completely dressed in their costume. There will not be time to put costumes on at school.
  • Students will not be allowed to call home for a change of clothing.
  • No masks of any kind may be worn. Students may wear MODERATE make-up, face paint, or spray on hair color, if it is the type that can stay on all day, and does not interfere with class.
  • No extra paraphernalia will be allowed, such as devil’s pitch forks, any weapons, chains, roller skates, handcuffs, spray cans or confetti.
  • No constrictive or limiting costumes may be worn. Students must be able to safely participate in all school activities, such as P.E. and recess.
  • Costumes must demonstrate good taste and modesty. Please avoid gore and violent costumes, or costumes that are revealing; (i.e., bare midriffs).

COSTUMES MUST MEET THE ALTA LOMA SCHOOL DISTRICT DRESS CODE GUIDELINES AND STILL REFLECT GOOD, CLEAN FUN.  STUDENTS WHOSE COSTUMES DO NOT MEET THESE STANDARDS WILL BE ASKED TO CALL PARENTS FOR A CHANGE OF CLOTHING.
