ALSD Waiver Application Approved; Planning for Return Format and Date Continues
The San Bernardino County Department of Public Health has approved the Alta Loma School District’s waiver application for elementary schools to return to in-person classroom instruction.
District officials continue to meet with teachers and families to plan details for schools to safely reopen. The return to schools will be a combination of a hybrid in-person educational model and a continuation of the current distance learning format. Families will be able to choose the option that is best for their children.
The complex planning process not only involves the blending of instructional models, but also the timeframe for students to return to classrooms.
