Students throughout the Alta Loma School District have new textbooks.
“As new adoptions are developed every seven or eight years, we are able to refresh our instructional materials for students from kindergarten through eighth grade,” said ALSD Superintendent James Moore.
The district purchased new versions of language arts in the 16-17 school year and mathematics textbooks for all grades in the 17-18 school year. This year, students in sixth, seventh and eighth grades have the latest edition social science materials.
ALSD also is in the process of updating science materials because the statewide science standards were recently updated.
