Dear Alta Loma Elementary Families,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the new school year of 2025-2026! I am honored to be the new Principal of Alta Loma Elementary School and am looking forward to meeting our students and families! I have been in education for 25 years at the elementary, middle and high school levels. I have been with the Alta Loma School District for the last 8 ½ years serving as a Dean of Students and Assistant Principal at Vineyard Jr. High School and for the last two years I have been the Assistant Principal at Banyan Elementary School.

Our dedicated staff has been working hard to prepare for our students’ return.  At Alta Loma Elementary, we strive to provide our students with the best educational experiences by creating a safe, positive learning environment, by providing rigorous standards-based instruction, using the state adopted materials and by ensuring that the individual needs of each and every student are met. Our highly trained and qualified staff members collaborate and share best practices on a regular basis in an effort to meet the needs of students at all levels. Student safety, academic achievement, and building character are the top priorities for our Chieftains!

With this in mind, this year our school’s theme is “Good things grow at ALE" because we know that this year all of our students will grow in all areas! We know that what happens every day in the classroom has a profound effect on our students now and in the future. We are committed to helping our students reach their personal best by polishing skills, recognizing efforts and celebrating successes. Keeping this in mind, it is through a strong home and school partnership that we are able to achieve such high standards and provide the best learning opportunities for our students at Alta Loma Elementary. 

We welcome parents and family members to become involved in your child’s education in any capacity that you can. There are a variety of ways to become involved such as joining our Parent Teacher Association (P.T.A.), attending school events/assemblies, helping with your child’s homework, and by communicating with your child’s teachers on a regular basis.
