Hello Carnelian Cardinal Families!

Welcome Back to the 25-26 school year! We are excited to to see our Cardinal students and we can't wait to hear all about their summer! As we return to another year, we will continue to teach our students what it means to do things "The Cardinal Way", always remembering to "Be Safe, Be Kind, and Be Proud"! Below is important information, as well as important dates coming up.

Families of new students must complete the registration process and returning families must complete their annual enrollment. Once you have done this, you will be able to login to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal and see your child's teacher, which was posted today on Friday, August 1st after 4:30 p.m.

Thursday, July 31st @ 10:30 a.m.: New Student Orientation in MPR (Grades 1-5)

Thursday, July 31st @ 5:00 p.m.: TK Parent Orientation Meeting in MPR

Thursday, July 31st @ 6:00 p.m.: Kindergarten Parent Orientation Meeting in MPR

Friday, August 1st @ 10:00 a.m.: CHAMPS Orientation in MPR, then classrooms

Friday, August 1st @ 11:00 a.m.: TK and Kinder Meet and Greet in classrooms

Friday, August 1st @ 4:30 p.m.: Teacher placement is available to view in Parent Portal

Monday, August 4th - First Day of School (Modified Day Grades K-5)

• On the first day of school, parents are allowed on campus to walk their students to class. We want you to enjoy these milestone moments!

Tuesday, August 5th & Wednesday, August 6th - Modified Day Grades K-5

Thursday, August 14th @ 5:00 p.m.: PTA Association Meeting

Thursday, August 14th @ 5:30 p.m.: Back to School Night (Grades 1-5)

Tuesday, August 19th: Fall Picture Day

Keep your eye on social media, emails and the District app for more specific information about the upcoming events at the start of the school year.​ If you have not downloaded the Alta Loma School District app for your phone, please download it as soon as possible. You can select Carnelian Elementary as your school and view anything that is posted to the app. We want to communicate information out to our community as efficiently as we can, so please check us out on Instagram too!
