The City of Rancho Cucamonga and the Healthy RC Safe Routes to School Program is sponsoring a Bike Rodeo made possible by Safe Moves on Friday, December 13th from 12:30-1:30pm at Banyan Elementary School!
We are able to accommodate 35, 4th-6th grade students for our Bike Rodeo and the first 35 students to return their permission slips will be able to participate and we will have a wait list if more than 35 students show interest.

Thank you to our Banyan Community for supporting @OperationCommunityCares! The local pack event will be held on Saturday, November 16th from 8am-12pm at Hillside Church (5354 Haven Avenue) and we are so thankful that we were able to contribute to send support packages to our troops! #opcomcares

Virtual Parent Engagement Night #2 on Promoting positive behavior in and out of school will be held on Tuesday, 11/12 from 6-7pm. See flyer for more information!

Banyan Elementary was fortunate to be sponsored by the City of Rancho Cucamonga and the Healthy RC Safe Routes to School Program to celebrate International Walk to School Day on Wednesday, October 9th! Over 250 students started their day by participating in a "walking school bus" to walk to school with their classmates, the Banyan staff and families as well as our County Supervisor Jesse Armenderez, Mayor Pro Tem, Lynne Kennedy as well as many other Dignitaries from the City of Rancho Cucamonga! Corky's and September's in Haven Village donated breakfast food and $100 gift cards, Vons donated breakfast food, Cyclery USA donated 3 bicycles, helmets and bike lights and Healthy RC donated 10 goody bags! Our 50th day of school is on Friday, October 11th so we're celebrating 50's Day!


Alta Loma School District Enrichment Day and Chess Tournament with Chess Masters at Vineyard Jr. High School on Saturday, 10/19, 8:30-11:30am! All students participating in the chess tournament must pre-register using the QR code by October 16th!


There is no school on Monday! Have a great three day weekend!
