ALE is excited to partner with @rcplib and provide your student with the opportunity to sign up for a Student Success Card! A “Student Success Card” is a free digital library card designed to give your student access to the Library’s valuable online resources.
With a Student Success Card, your student can
- Receive free online tutoring
- Access eBooks, audiobooks, and more
- Explore research databases for grades K-12

Winter Break is coming! Friday, December 19 is a modified day dismissal for grades K-5. Winter Break is Monday, December 22-Friday, January 2. Students return to school on Monday, January 5, 2026!

@sz_ranchocucamonga has partnered with @altalomapta to provide free admission for our ALE students on Thursday, 12/18 from 4-6pm. The only cost incurred would be the cost of the socks ($7 dollars) to use when at SkyZone unless your child has a pair of socks from SkyZone. Please come check our Lost and Found next week, Wednesday-Friday, which will be located outside the MPR gate to see if we have something that belongs to your child.

The Top 3 ALE Mascot suggestions are in! The next step is our graphic designer will create 2 examples of each suggested mascot in December and we will vote for the final mascot in January! Our new mascot will be unveiled at our Chieftain Pride assemblies on Friday, 2/6!

The Hour of Code is coming to ALE next week...December 8-12!

A FREE Vaccine Clinic for students attending any school in San Bernardino County sponsored by the San Bernardino County Public Health Department. will be held on Wednesday, 12/10 from 1-4pm by appointment.
Please scan the QR code on the flyer to schedule an appointment for their child to get their vaccines. The clinic will be held at Central Elementary School in Rancho Cucamonga. (7955 Archibald Avenue).

Happy Thanksgiving ALE Families! We are THANKFUL for you! Thanksgiving Break is November 24-28, 2025. Students return to school on Monday, December 1, 2025.

The next ALSD Virtual Parent Engagement Night will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025 from 6pm-7pm. Steve Filson, Retired Police Officer and Co-Founder of VOID (Victims of Illicit Drugs) will be presenting on "What Parents Need to Know about the Dangers of Fentanyl and Other Drugs." Chieftains! Our i-Ready challenge for the month is the highest # of lessons passed! You're doing GREAT with passing your My Path lessons! Keep it up!

Parent-Teacher Conference week is Monday-Friday, November 17-21. Grades K-5 will be on modified day schedule and will be dismissed at 1:10pm!
