The Banyan Ontario Reign Hockey Night is on January 10th! 6 lucky Banyan students will have a chance to ride the Reign Fanboni on the ice before the game (tickets must be purchased before New Year's Eve). We hope to see you there!
The Holiday Shop will be open next week, December 9-13 in room F201! Classroom shopping only on Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday- Friday students can shop with a parent/guardian from 8:15-8:30am. The Holiday Shop will be open during all recesses Wednesday and Thursday, but will be closed after the first recess on Friday. There will not be any after school shopping. Thank you PTA!
Holiday Spirit Week, December 16-19!
The City of Rancho Cucamonga and the Healthy RC Safe Routes to School Program is sponsoring a Bike Rodeo made possible by Safe Moves on Friday, December 13th from 12:30-1:30pm at Banyan Elementary School!
We are able to accommodate 35, 4th-6th grade students for our Bike Rodeo and the first 35 students to return their permission slips will be able to participate and we will have a wait list if more than 35 students show interest.

Banyan Elementary was fortunate to be sponsored by the City of Rancho Cucamonga and the Healthy RC Safe Routes to School Program to celebrate International Walk to School Day on Wednesday, October 9th! Over 250 students started their day by participating in a "walking school bus" to walk to school with their classmates, the Banyan staff and families as well as our County Supervisor Jesse Armenderez, Mayor Pro Tem, Lynne Kennedy as well as many other Dignitaries from the City of Rancho Cucamonga! Corky's and September's in Haven Village donated breakfast food and $100 gift cards, Vons donated breakfast food, Cyclery USA donated 3 bicycles, helmets and bike lights and Healthy RC donated 10 goody bags!
