Hello Carnelian Community! Here is a quick update on the City’s paving project that is currently underway on Vineyard/Carnelian. The contractor is finalizing the concrete work that has been ongoing for the past month is preparing to start the paving operations next week. The limits of paving are on Carnelian/Vineyard between Base Line Road and Foothill Blvd. The upcoming paving operations will have a more significant impact on traffic in the adjacent area. Travel will be down to one lane in each direction on Carnelian/Vineyard and left turns will be limited along the street. Here is an overview of the timeline for the paving operations:

Paving work will begin next Monday (10/5) and will last until November 5
A full closure is planned at the intersection of Carnelian St/Base Line Rd for all day on Saturday, October 24. We are hoping this will be helpful information since there will be delays at pick up and drop off at Carnelian this month due to the paving. Please reach out for any questions.
